Reviews of WRTH 2009
There is simply no better print reference for all manner of domestic and worldwide radio and television broadcasts. AM, FM, longwave, and shortwave radio station locations and schedules are covered – Lee Badman, USA
I have just received my 2009 edition. Among the other broadcast references WRTH still remains the best and most comprehensive. A very helpful guide that not only tells you about shortwave stations, but also about all FM and TV stations and the used technique in a country! A must for every DXer and traveller. As a radio amateur I also like to find some rare broadcast stations. WRTH is just what you need – Hannes Gruensteidl, OE3SGU, Germany
World Radio TV Handbook, the ultimate reference handbook for radio enthusiasts, has recently released the 2009 edition. World Radio TV Handbook consistently sets the radio hobby standards. It remains the best, most authorative and comprehensive radio reference book in the world; one that should be in every hobbyist listening post or radio room. Quite simply, it is the ultimate guide – one not to be missed – Gayle Van Horn, Monitoring Times
It's hard to see how much more the WRTH could be improved. As always, the WRTH is highly recommended – Radio Netherlands Media Network
It's rare that a publication can fulfill so many needs -- insight and information, entertainment, and reference -- and so with perfection. Yet that's exactly what WRTH manages to do. For me, WRTH is a "must-buy" each year. I use the new copy in my listening post at home, and then take last year's edition to the office of the start-up venture where I work -- and where I have another listening post set up to keep me company during the long nights I put in to keep our venture growing. The content is just great. It's money that I look forward to spending each year. As a veteran SW and MW DXer, this is just one of those items that allows me to enjoy this wonderful hobby to the fullest – William Patalon III, USA

General views on WRTH
I don't know how I managed without this fantastic publication for so long! The information contained in it is awesome WRTH tells you it all. I find the SW frequency lists at the back of the book invaluable for identifying unknown stations and I loved reading the articles, reviews and interviews in the front of the book. Anyone with any interest at all in radio will benefit by this book, and if you listen to SW broadcast stations it is simply a MUST – Adam Toynton, UK
Your publication is unparalleled in quality of information with regard to radio stations around the world. It is the first place I look when encountering an unfamiliar station – Joe Analssandrini, USA
A relatively new WRTH is a must. Maybe one doesn't always need the latest (although I buy it as a habit), but it shouldn't be older than two years. Then one can throw Sender & Frequenzen and Passport to the recycle papers – Martin Elbe, Germany
Authoritative information for everyone involved in international broadcasting – Communications Africa
